At the local shop stopping over

Sexuality and Shame

The issue of sexuality
Is always treated with much secrecy
Because it an area where the devil
Afflicts Christians with shame

Satan inflicts us with guilt
Of the sins committed in the past
Bringing down our self-esteem
As well as causing hindrance to our prayer life

Like every other form of sin
When we confess them to God
He forgive us our sin
The bible say there’s no condemnation
For them that are in Christ Jesus
Who do not walk according to the flesh
But according to the Spirit

Therefore we have been set free
From every form of guilt and shame
Through Christ’s death on the cross
And we are free indeed
We should not allow ourself to held by the past sin
Committed in the past

God loves us irrespective
Of what has happen in the past
When we come to Him
In repentance our past is forgotten
Is our responsibility as Christians
To grow in maturity so our brethren
Can confide in us and share their challenges
So they can be restored

If a man is overtaken in any trespass
You who are spiritual restore such a one
In a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself
Lest you also be tempted
Remember blessed is that man whose sin
The Lord does not count against him
