Am going on a journey

That will determine tomorrow

It will change the course of my existence

As I lunch out far into the deep

In search of nothing else but happiness

You can’t even see the person

And lastly, you learn to appreciate.

So often, we take for granted

The people and relationships in our lives

Because we think they’ll always be there.

We don’t know the value of a moment

Until it becomes a memory

But when you only have a limited

Amount of time with a person,

You learn to appreciate and cherish

Every single moment you have with them.

When you finally see that person

After weeks or months of seeing them

Only through a computer screen via

Skype or webcam, or talking  via phone calls,

It is one of the greatest feelings in the world.

When you’ve waited for something

For so long and you finally have it

You cherish it.

The key to a long distance relationship

Is faith if both of you are not willing to give you.

If both of you are willing to stand tall and try

After every time one of you or both of you fall down.

Isn’t for the timid and the fearful,
