Gift of the Lover

THE ability to give is, in itself,
a gift a manifestation of God’s
goodness to a person.
If you have a trouble giving,
ask God to give you a spirit
of generosity and a willingness to give!

George MacDonald write
in The Word of Jesus on Prayer,
“For the real good of every gift
it is essential, first that the giver
be in the gift as God always is,

for He is love and next,
that the receiver know and receive
the giver in the gift. Every gift of God
is but a harbinger of His greatest
and only sufficing gift that of Himself.

No gift unrecognized as coming from God
is at its own best: therefore many things
that God would gladly give us
must wait until we ask for them,
that we may know whence they come.
When in all gifts we find Him,
then in Him we shall find all things.”

There is no relationship
where this kind of gifts of giving
is more pleasant important
and more life-enhancing than
in marriage relationship.

You know your spouse better
than anyone, and your spouse knows you.
When you give your spouse a gift of your love,
you’re giving more of yourself.
A wise lover values not so much
the gift of the lover as the love of the giver.

Forgiveness and Love

When God forgives,
something decisive happens.
When we forgive, again,
something decisive happens.

In Healing Life’s Hurts,
Matthew and Dennis Linn
tell of an inner-healing workshop they observed.
The men and women present
were all once divorced and had remarried.

They had come to retreat
hoping for healing of
the anger and hostility they felt
toward their former spouses.

During the weekend session,
the remarried couples
were slowly and prayerfully
led into ways in which they could grow
from their past relationships and use
what they learned to build new patterns of love
and forgiveness in their current marriages.

After a year, the group reunited
to discuss what had happened
in the aftermath of the retreat.
The Linns reported: “Out of the seven
who forgive their former spouse
after the years of resentment,
five found their former spouses had suddenly
made an effort to forgive and build a bridge toward them.

One suddenly called
a week after the workshop,
another traveled two thousand miles
to see his family, and another wrote
his first letter in ten silent years.

Forgiveness frees us
to both give and receive love.
It is one of the most important things we must practice in marriage
Forgiveness is giving love when there is no reason to.

Living Above Board

Of course the charge was dropped after a long battle

But more charges was raised about keeping a prostitute ring

Even though he was highly respected and revered none could

Deny the battle he consistently lost – sex

Tiger Woods’ name defined golf for a long time

As well and he had risen to become the most respected

Sports personality of his era

He was number 1 for so many years and money rolled in

From all forms of endorsement

Loosing on the golf course was alien to him

But none could deny the sex battles he lost

Which eventually caught up with him and cost him

His marriage, career and earnings

We can go on and on to mention several names of leaders

Who never recover from their inability to handle their sexuality

In my studies over the years I have discovered that men and women

In history have been able to handle every other thing

Except their sexuality as a matter of fact

There is a theory that the more passionate a leader is

The higher his / her sex drive

So much waited for you
For so long he has been looking
Looking and watching from a distance
Attentively with full concentration
Someone somewhere

Such a person that turns my head
Calm, gentle and fun to be with
Nature gift of art so she is
Loved by all people person
Someone somewhere

A gifted being…a genius
A gem polish without fault
Someone made to be a gift to mankind
Such that when you get hold you don’t want to let go
Someone somewhere

Across the seas, spring, ocean and rive
The water bodies the green tropical forest
Beautiful landscape and savanna land
Craft handed art of Mother Nature
A gem suffice someone somewhere

She caught my eyes as I gaze around
Looking and watching nature’s work of art
Where is the being coming from
Oh! A beautiful soul with a beautiful appearance
Someone somewhere

There’s this earnest longing to reach out to her
To talk to her and strike a deal of friendship
Build a long lasting relationship
That will transpire into a union of companionship
With someone somewhere

Let the wind take my the sound of my voice
Let the bird fly to you and sing it like a song
Let the trees resound it in your ear
Let it flow like a river to you
That I love you so much someone somewhere

Love&Respect

Love is respect
for one party to grow
it needs the other party
cause when respect is gone
love cannot grow.

Your spouse needs respect
from you and so is it
when you love someone
you'll won't want to offend him/her
respect is the most essential element.

That keeps relationship working
show me a relationship that lacks
affection...concern
faithfulness...honesty
communication...understanding
then I'll show a relationship.,

That is heading towards break-up
respect is the utmost
in relationship it keeps it on
irrespective of what happen
when there is respect love grows.

Remember...
when respect is gone
love cannot grow any longer
to your Date respect Him/Her
threat her like a lady
show her love and commitment.
