That little child

Your child today
A parent tomorrow
That little child that follows you
Sometimes he/she climbs upon your knees
Oh help me God to careful lead
That little child that follows me.

He/she cries and you wake up
Just to attend to their needs
They look at you in your eyes
And laugh cause they see love
Affections in your eyes
That tells them you love them.

That little child
Placed in your care
To be nurtured and cherish
You we give account of him/her
Manage his/her life very well
And make the best out of them.

Give rebuke and correction
Never over look and say is just a little child
Discipline in love and understanding
Don’t give all what they ask for
Learn how to say no and be firm at it
Train up a child in the way he/she should grow…
