Away From the World

As we stood far from the noise of the world
Its activities and the busyness of the day
Away from the world into our own world
We’re lost in each others company
Going away from the busyness

Coming into our own world
Without anything disturbing us
As our heart is at rest
Never bothered or thinking about anything
As the world stood still

So quite noiseless
As the cars and machines
Have all taken a French leaf
Babies and hawkers gone to sleep
As the stars rules the night

We’re out in the dead of the night
Alone with each other
Enjoying each other’s company
Here that’s what it takes to be loved
To feel the sense of belonging…‘love’

Away from the world
Its harshness and unpleasant sound
The cares and trouble of life
Away into a world of comfort
Where the heart and mind is at rest

Away from the world
To be with you
Away from the world
Into your loving arms
Away from the world back to you alone
