IF I COULD

If I could catch a glimpse
Of the dew of the morning
Read you a love poem
While in bed with you
Wrap my arms around you as I read you the poem

If could I’d buy an island
You could call it your very own
A place to find serenity
Where you could be alone
If I could

Turn back the hands of time
And keep it still never to move an inch
I’ll spend the whole of eternity with you in your arms
We drift through the beautiful shores of nature’s gift
Beinging so pure love void of fear and unhappiness

Cause I cant buy an island
Nor catch a rainbow fair
So I’ll just do what I do best
Be someone who’s always there
If I could

All day all times
I’ll cross the ocean
Take the flight
Drive across the oceans
Coming home tonight

If I could take your troubles
I’d throw them in the sea
But all these things I’m finding
Are impossible for me

‘cause I can’t buy an island
Nor catch a rainbow fair
So I’ll just do what I do best
Be someone who’s always here
