I DO ‘NOT’ WE DO

When you get married
You stood with her/him alone
On the hallowed spot
To make a vow of a lifetime
And you both say I do not we do

Extended family are to be kept away
From the union as it never a union
Of many people but two people
Who profess undying love towards each other
Not the crowd saying we do but is just I do

I do to stay with her
No matter what happens after
We both must settle our difference
And sort out our differences
Mend and blend together

Fine we all have so much different
Orientation towards life
From our personal belief
To the way and manner we do things
I do not we do

Family relatives can offer advises
And counsels then go buy is never
For them to come into our home
And dedicate the space at which
Such a home should be run is I do not we do.
