Who is a Good Friend?

Every one reading this, either
• A good friend.
• Has a good friend.
• Will be blessed with a good friend soon.
• Have meet a good friend but fail to recognize him/her.
Good friend are indeed around us…
We pass them on the street in the mail and in the halls at work and in the school. Most, we can’t see because we don’t know what a good friend really looks like
He/she may not have “face” like Shalom or Halley.
He/she might not have “body” like Kelly or Janet.
But, as you mature, you realize it’s better to find someone who’s got your back rather to find someone who turns your head. A good friend doesn’t agree whole-heartedly with everything you say.
He/she doesn’t declare how sensitive sweet caring, sincere he/she is.
He/she won’t have to tell you what you want to hear and to do the opposite.
He/she doesn’t flatter.
He/she has his/her opinions and yours may clash, but he/she doesn’t have to downgrade you to prove he/she is right.
He/she even admits at times to being wrong especially if you are willing to do the same.
A good friend is not going to meet every item on your checklist.
For every lad, your friend is human with frailties and faults, missed with all of her wonderful attributes.
She needs your love and respect, she needs to feel that you don’t have to “catch” her doing something wrong so you can declare “Aha!” I know you where a dog.
A good friend isn’t insecure her man having great achievement.
A good friend tells you the truth about yourself whether good or bad. If bad helps you remove your bad side and prefer solution.
A good friend doesn’t disgrace you or embarrass you.
A good friend is sincere and honest.
A good friend acknowledges your presence.
A good friend is a friend for all time.
A good friend is faithful.
